The oval shape of Mother of the Great Earth stands for the original source of all Creation – the two faces of divine Oneness as well as the union of yin and yang. The void within encompasses our entire universe and the myriad forms of Creation. Truth begins from the void and gives birth to the One. The One gives birth to two, then to three, and ultimately to all of Creation before returning to the source and the warm embrace of the Mother of the Great Earth.
